Sandbox RPG "Portal Knights" has originally released for early access on Steam back in February. The game studios, now, are headed to major platforms such as PS4 and Xbox One.
Since the free trial is available right now, players who are interested to know the gameplay of "Portal Knights" can try it. The trial version doesn't have a big download size and therefore shouldn't burden the PS4 or Xbox One internal memory and won't take a long time to install.
"Portal Knights" free trial will grant players access to the first level of the game. In that initial stage, fans will learn the basics strategy of the title such as craft and battle system and create characters.
The Steam page of "Portal Knights" provides more information about the title, revealing certain features of the game that players can expect. "Portal Knights" allows gamers to travel between random 3D sandbox worlds in which each one of them is unique.
According to Siliconera, Keen Games' latest project, "Portal Knights" will have 3D tactical action combat, which includes many kinds of weapon and spells that players can choose. Another element that makes this title interesting is the abundance classic RPG characters' classes that gamers can pick to master and the character's appearance, abilities, and gear customization feature.
Just like other famous RPG, gamers need to mine and gather resources from the "Portal Knights" in-game world to craft their weaponry and supplies. In addition to that, it is possible for players to build their own home and furnish it to their heart's content, including planting a farm and reaping the crops harvest like in "Hayday".
"Portal knights" won't be as exciting as it is if there aren't any epic boss fights. There are many bosses, either mini or storyline bosses that players can battle against. Beasts, monsters and Portal Guardians are also available as enemies that gamers can challenge.
"Portal Knights" can be played in single player mode or online multiplayer that support up to four persons cooperative gamers. If fans end up liking this game after playing the demo, they can make a purchase on May 23 as the game will be officially launched on that day, as reported by BleedingCool.
