‘The Walking Dead: A New Frontier’ Season 3 Spoiler: ‘Thicker Than Water' Due April 25, What To Expect

Things are heating up for Telltale’s “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier” with the upcoming release of its fourth episode, “Thicker Than Water.” The latest episode of Season 3 will be out on April 25 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS and Android platforms.

The announcement somehow comes as a surprise for folks following the episodic adventure game considering episode normally followed a three-month gap between the two-part season premiere as well as the third episode, Eurogamer reported.

Regardless, “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier” gamers are unlikely to complain about the fast turnaround. Episode 4 will continue to follow the misadventures of the Garcia family and Clementine, refugees whose fate may have been spilled with the recent collage of the “Thicker Than Water” image put up via Twitter. That included seeing David with a rope around his neck and Tripp and Ava being held at gunpoint, IGN reported.

Folks who were able to go through the third episode (“Above the Law”) of “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier” may want to revisit that stage, unless they already have an idea of what that visual means. Could there be new characters joining the mix?

It remains to be seen if the third episode will successfully transition from the “Above the Law” episode of “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.” But early reviews of the upcoming “Thicker Than Water” call it good but not quite a great mid-season episode.

It could be a respite of sorts for the ones into “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier” with the season expected to wrap up this May. Telltale's Job Stauffer previously mentioned that the fifth and final episode could be out next month, possibly hinting that the upcoming part may offer some minor twists.

As mentioned above, there could be some new characters or turncoats happening in “Thicker Than Water” of “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.” Check out the trailer and see if you can figure out things to come.
