‘Titanfall 2’ Exciting Features That Will Hit Next Week With Its Free DLC

Apr 20, 2017 08:00 PM EDT

Respawn Entertainment will release "A Glitch in the Frontier" on April 25, the next batch of free DLC for "Titanfall 2." The biggest additions coming to the game will be two new maps: Glitch, a medium-sized map designed for objective modes inspired by Captain Lastimosa's home planet of Harmony, and Deck that is a Live Fire mode map which features tight interior spaces, watchful drones circling overhead and exposed courtyards.

According to Game Spot, the update will also add the M.R.V.N faction and will bring back Marked for Death mode for "Titanfall 2." Jump into new maps, a new faction, and a new execution in the latest "Titanfall 2" free DLC. Speaking of M.R.V.N faction, the DLC will make them a faction in the game. The announcement recently stated about how they'll fit in or what they will bring to the party. Other changes in the update will include a new look for the main menu, an increase in maximum Pilot Gen to 100 and new Gen icons for call signs, the Get to the Point, addition of Live Fire mode to Private Match options, and the ability to choose between Prime and regular executions for Titan.

To sum it up, the free DLC for "Titanfall 2" will feature the Glitch Map, medium-sized map designed for objective modes and inspired by Captain Lastimosa's home planet of Harmony. Vertical drops and long, twisting paths dominate the environment, perfect for chaining together long wall runs to seamlessly glide across the map and Deck Live Fire Map which has tight interior spaces, exposed courtyards, and watchful drones circling overhead, Euro Gamer reported.

Next week's content update is the latest in Respawn's plan to release free gameplay content for Titanfall 2 and follows the Colony Reborn update released in March. The "Titanfall 2: Glitch in the Frontier" DLC will go live on April 25, and will be free for everyone.
