Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Release, Specs Update: Hybrid NOT Releasing In May Event, Says Analysts

Microsoft has recently announced the coming spring event, what they called #MicrosoftEDU, and it is scheduled on the second day of May 2017. In this announcement, many fans expected that the most awaited Microsoft Surface Pro 5 laptop will be revealed, however, it was also confirmed lately that no Surface Pro 5 coming in the event. The said event will be the Microsoft's tool in unveiling its latest devices and updates.

The Microsoft event will be entitled #MicrosoftEDU will be happening on Tuesday, May 2, 9:30 AM (EDT). In the poster unveiled together with this announcement, a tagline reads Learn what's next. It is presumable that the event will more likely to launch something. However, additional details regarding the said event were not revealed.

In the years that have passed, it has been Microsoft's tradition to organize a spring event and during that usually, new products are disclosed to the public. Mary Jo Foley, a noted technology reporter at ZDNet, first revealed the Microsoft's spring event. Though this event has already been a talk of the town, still there is no confirmation on what will be the possible product will be launched.

The much-awaited Microsoft Surface Phone and the Microsoft Surface Phone 5 might not still be ready for the upcoming May 2 event, says Business Insider. The information which publication has revealed is coming from the sources close to Microsoft.

Furthermore, earlier reports claim that the successor to the Surface Book is not yet ready, and won't be announced at the Spring 2017 hardware event at least. The report also adds that at least one new piece of hardware is expected to be launched - something that's likely education focused.

According to Foley's report, the spring event of Microsoft is nicknamed internally as Bespin. The said event is also said to be focused on creation and creativity topics. It is also said that during #MicrosoftEDU, the Microsoft will release an update for their software and hardware commodities.
