Huawei is now working on a new 2-in-1 tablet, this new company's project started a few months ago and targets to be a direct competitor against the Microsoft Surface Pro. It was first rumored that Huawei is working on three different devices which come with different designs; externally and internally.

According to MS Power User, the company is now making its progress on three Matebook tablets; expected that this trio will be soon unveiled at Computex this coming June. Evan Blass, popular tech enthusiasts claimed that Huawei is actually working on these tablets, not just any false rumors. The tablets were named as Bell, Watt, and Pascal. These Matebook tablets are speculated to carry the model designations as Matebook E, X, and D. The tech enthusiasts added that among the three Matebooks, two are more likely to appear like a laptop and one seems to appear as a true tablet.

The said Huawei Pascal was recently reviewed by Roland Quandt, another tech specialist which apparently reached Geekbench. The device got a pretty decent score from its reviews, which receives 3651 in the single-core score and 6788 in multi-core score. Huawei Matebook Pascal was highlighted with a dual-core Intel i5-7200U processor which runs the device at 2.7GHz enabled multi-threading. The device was partnered by ample amount of 8GB of RAM, with its Windows 10 as its operating system.

According to Tech Radar, another advantage that Huawei could have in their Matebook variants is its port. It was previously reported that Microsoft will not include the Thunderbolt 3 for their upcoming Surface Pro 5. Having Thunderbolt 3 as a port, the functionality of the tablet can be maximized through connections from an internal display or an eGPU.

Unfortunately, until now leaks didn't include how much this device will cost. The official revelations of the said tablets will be held by Huawei in the upcoming Computex event in Taiwan.
