Latest updates reveal that the Galaxy S8 will be shipping ahead of its previously stipulated launch date. According to reports, Samsung Galaxy S8 will launch worldwide on April 21, 2017, and will probably be missing a key feature.

It is reported that people who pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be getting their orders ahead of the official launch. In particular, those who ordered the device from will get their orders two days before Galaxy S8 hit store shelves as T-Mobile already sent a text alert to those who pre-ordered the device.

The Galaxy S8 is expected to ship from T-Mobile on Apr. 19, which is two days before the official launch of the device. However, at launch, Samsung the Galaxy S8 will be missing one of its most important features, according to the BBC.

The smartphone's Bixby voice-assistant will not ship with any of its voice control functionality on the Samsung the Galaxy S8. The technology was first announced last month and it is expected to be launched with Samsung's flagship devices.

Meanwhile, users of the Samsung the Galaxy S8 are expected to receive the feature via a software update later this year. Although the South Korean tech company did not state the reason behind the unexpected delay, it is reported that Samsung noted when the feature will be available.

"Key features of Bixby, including Vision, Home, and Reminder, will be available with the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 on April 21. Bixby Voice will be available in the US on the Galaxy S8 later this spring," the company said in a statement.

It seems the situation is not all that bad as users of the Samsung the Galaxy S8 will still be able to make good use of the Bixby's augmented reality camera feature that allows users to scan real-world elements. The elements that can be scanned includes landmarks, book covers, and many other.

It can also be used to search the internet for similar items, additional information on anything, or even shopping results. According to Express, the developer will also enable the new Home panel and the ability to set reminders via Bixby on the Samsung the Galaxy S8.

The report also states that Bixby works with a various Samsung's native apps, such as Contacts, Messages, Camera, Gallery, and Settings. Bixby allows users that are within a compatible app to refer directly to items on-screen because it is content aware. it is also reported that the new assistant on the Samsung the Galaxy S8 will allow commands like "what is this" or "make a folder with these photos."
