Reports are now circulating about HMD Global, the Finland-based smartphone manufacturer, indicating that there are plans of making the next Nokia Android like Google's Nexus. The Finnish firm just announced its comeback last year and is now reported to be implementing tactics and strategies to regain its place in the smartphone market.

Know Your Mobile shared that HMD Global intends to partner with Google and Foxconn to further its gains by 2017 and 2018. It is also reported that the company wants to ensure the Android experience on Nokia Android smartphones will be similar to that of Google Nexus phones.

HMD Global's Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa, Per Ekman stated, "We and Google will jointly enhance the Nokia brand by putting the right kind of inputs to the Nokia Android phones including Google Assistant. He added, "Most smartphones in the market do not have the Android OS in the way it should be. Consumers have the right to avail of the latest version of the OS." Several speculations also claim that HMD Global is working to include Google Could onboard as well. This will provide a splendid musical experience for Nokia fans and users.

BGR also revealed that Nokia announced during a press conference at MWC that it is about to launch its Android iterations Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3. Further reports claim that these Nokia Android variants will run a clean version of the Android OS which is the kind that customers are looking for. Furthermore, Nokia confidently touted that it plans to issue swift updates to Android that no other smartphone manufacturer can.

Rumors suggest that the Nokia Android phones will hit the global market by May or early June. However, HMD Global did not reveal specific details regarding the official release but Nokia seems to be prepping for the launch already.
