Google has started rolling out the Nexus 6P Android 7.1.2 final build to the beta testers' phone. The upgrade is the stable version of the firmware that they have already had, only in development preview format.
Since Nexus 6P Android 7.1.2 final build is being delivered as an OTA update, users will receive a notification that alerts them to upgrade their beta version into the stable format. It won't take long until the renewal hits every beta testers' Smartphone so keep checking for it.
The amount of the download size of Nexus 6P Android 7.1.2 final build isn't that much, only 25.4MB, which isn't surprising because it doesn't change anything not even the build number that still stays N2G47H or even the features. The new version, however, will allow users to receive other OTA update for stable version if available in the future.
For those who haven't received the Nexus 6P Android 7.1.2 final build notification update can manually renew the firmware version. Owners just need to go to Setting> About phone> Software update then if it's there, users just need to continue downloading and installing it into their device.
AndroidHeadlines gives the same report that before downloading and installing the Nexus 6P Android 7.1.2 final build, users need to make sure that they have a sufficient battery life capacity. This is important because the system won't even let owners initiate the upgrade process if the battery amount isn't enough.
Google, so far, has only delivered this Nexus 6P Android 7.1.2 final build to 6P only and hasn't rolled out the final build to other beta testers' phone. It is expected that Google will start pushing out the stable version to other beta testers' mobile, too, as reported by AndroidPolice.
