‘Dark Souls 3’ Patch App Version 1.13 Focuses On PvP Mode & Changes To Individual Weapons

Bandai Namco, the publisher, and From Software, the developer of “Dark Souls 3,” released on Wednesday, April 12, Patch App version 1.13. The update added a new level, new arena, and a lot of improvements on board. The patch is the final gift to the action role-playing game.

VG24/7 reports that the focus of Patch App version 1.13 is the PvP mode of “Dark Souls 3” plus some changes to individual weapons. The update also introduces significant changes to the system governing summons and invasions. Bandai Namco added a Round Plaza or a new flat PvP arena to the Undead Match PvP list.

Release of Patch Schedules

Patch App Version 1.13 was released on PC and PlayStation 4 on Wednesday. On Friday, the update for “Dark Souls 3” would release on Xbox One. According to the patch notes, for Steam, the update would arrive between 5 and 7 p.m., JST, 10 a.m. and 12 noon CEST and 6 and 8 p.m. PDT. For PS4, it is between 10 a.m. and 12 noon JST, 3 and 5 a.m. CEST, and 6 and 8 p.m. PDT on April 12. For Xbox One, the schedule is between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. JST, 3 and 9 a.m. CEST, and 6 p.m. and 12 midnight PDT.

Besides the addition of the Round Plaza, the patch allows the player to summon two Darkmoon Blades or Blue Sentinels. However, during an invasion, when a white phantom dies, the host could no longer summon other white phantoms for a set period of time. Patch App Version 1.13 also provided new values for matchmaking when summoning other “Dark Souls 3” players.

Bugs the Upgrade Fixed

Also fixed by the Patch App Version 1.13 are a bug in which the “Dark Souls 3” player could invade hosts during a boss fight, a bug that uses disabled items, and a bug that summons the Spear of the Church outside the boss battle area. The update likewise fixed a bug that summons red phantoms after Darkmoon Blade or Blue Sentinel appears and fixed a bug that applies Resins and Spell Buffs to unbaffable weapons, iDigitalTimes reports.
