The demand for the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has been beyond South Korea ever since its launch in September 2016. For those who are based in India, the smartphone would finally land on their local shelves soon.
Instead of depending on online retail outlets, Indians could finally purchase the smartphone in their local tech outlets. The South Korean multinational tech company has decided that it would be best if the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime would also be sold in India.
In an article published by Gadgets 360, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution at 401 pixels per inch. A 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor will also power the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime also has a 3GB worth of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB through a microSD card.
On the camera specs, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0 with TouchWiz UI over the top.
Not only that, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will have a nonremovable 3300mAh battery. The smartphone is measured 151.50 x 74.90 x 8.10 and weighs on at 167 grams. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, microUSB 2.0, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth v4.1, Wifi and 4G LTE.
In Samsung's official website, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime would cost INR 15,900 or $246. BGR has reported that the e-commerce website OnlyMobile listed the smartphone for INR 16,900 or $261.The phone would be available in Black and Gold.
The official release date of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime in India is still unannounced. Currently, the phone is listed on various Indian retail stores.
