It looks like “Overwatch 2.09 didn’t just add new game content and events in the game but also some glitches in the game. For that reason, Blizzard had no choice but to disable several game modes in the team-based multiplayer game. Blizzard says they will launch the game modes again when the issues have been solved.

According to VG247, the latest update included new content like game mode, Uprising Loot boxes in exchange of the in-game loot boxes, a new event, skins and much more. The loot box includes Tracer’s Cadet Oxton skins, Mercy’s Combat Medic Ziegler, Blackwatch Genji, Talon Widowmaker, Blackwatch McCree and a lot more.

However, something went wrong with the update and it affected several existing modes in the game including the 3 vs 3 elimination, 6 vs 6 capture the flag, and the leaderboard according to Gamerant. Blizzard decided to disable all affected game modes across all platforms Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. The company didn’t explain in details what exactly went wrong but this is the first time a problem occurred in all three consoles.

“We don’t have an ETA for when the technical issues will be resolved and these features re-enabled,” the developer said in a forum post but promised to provide more updates as soon as they’re available. According to Blizzard. This means that gamers will have to play Player vs Environment until developers have found a way to fix all the issues.
