Quad DAC LG G6 To Be Available For Purchase In Australia Later This Week

Latest updates have revealed that LG G6 with Quad DAC will be available for purchase later this week in Australia. According to reports, the device, which was previously Korea exclusive will be available for purchase from the select retailer this week.

The standard version of the LG G6 was launched last month in Korea, but ever since, the device has not been available to other parts of the world. The developer has now announced that an impressive sounding version of the device coupled with Hi-Fi Quad DAC will be available at JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman later this week.
However, even though the availability of the high-quality audio device is a splendid news to fans in Australia, the developer is yet to display any interest of making the Quad DAC LG G6 available for other regions. According to Ausdroid, the Quad DAC LG G6 edition of will be available with the two aforementioned retailers and the device will be sold for $900 which is equivalent to AU$1,199.

The price tag fixed for the upgraded version of the LG G6 is up to an AU$191 bump compared to the price of the regular LG G6. It is reported that making the Quad DAC LG G6 edition is more expensive compared to the regular version of the device, according to Phone Arena.

The Quad DAC-equipped G6 will be available for purchase through JB and Harveys this Thursday, April 13. The LG G6 will not only be Hi-Fi Quad DAC upgraded version but will also feature 64GB Memory and Dual-SIM slot. The Telstra version of the device has 32GB of storage and single SIM card slot.

It is reported that since the device launched last month, it has enjoyed a favorable market but the nonavailability of the Quad DAC LG G6 in other regions has led to lower sales record. It is also believed the availability of the device in Australia will further both sales output for the developer.

The device sports 5.7-inch LCD display, with a 2,880 x 1,440 resolution at a PPI of 564. It also features 13MP Wide (125°) + 13MP Standard (71°) rear camera and 5-MP front camera, RAM of 4GB, Snapdragon 821 chipset, 32GB/64GB storage.

The LG G6 has a 3,300 mAh removable battery, MicroSD slot, USB C, headphone port located at the top, the speaker located at the bottom, 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm dimensions, and Weighs 163g. The device runs on Android 7 Nougat and features Astro Black, Mystic White, and Ice Platinum color variant.
