‘Elder Scrolls Online’ Free to Play Week on PS4, Xbox One, PC; ‘Morrowind’ Expansion Release Date Revealed

Bethesda Softworks has recently hosted the "Elder Scroll Online" Free to Play Week for the whole week starting on April 11 at 7 am PT/10am ET until April 18 at 7 am PT/10am ET. Players can download the trial version of this game from the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe).

To get access of the "Elder Scrolls Online" Free to Play Week, players need to create an account. The title will be available on all major platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It's good to be noted that this only includes the base game and excludes any expansions.

Fans, of course, can expect many premium things from "Elder Scrolls Online" Free to Play Week. As a starter, players will receive 500 crowns (in-game currency) which later on can be used to buy many in-game items such as pet, cosmetic upgrade, and much more.

If gaming enthusiasts decide to purchase the full version, any game progress like created characters, purchased Crown packs, Crown store items all of them will be carried over. Players that have ever participated in the previous "Elder Scrolls Online" Free to Play Week events will also have their game progress, items, and characters available.

According to Gamerant, there will be also massive discounts following the "Elder Scrolls Online" Free to Play Week on these editions including the "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" containing only the base game for $30 and "Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition Premium Bundle" which includes the base game as well as the Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood DLC packs for $60. The 50%-60% discounts to items mentioned above only until April 28 and after that, the price will go back to normal.

It should be noted that both titles including "Elder Scrolls Online" Free to Play Week don't require any subscription. Before downloading the trial version, gaming enthusiasts need to ensure that they have a plenty memory capacity for the title coming with 73GB download size, as reported by PlayStationLifeStyle. This event has a purpose of promoting and hooking fans' interest to the "Morrowind" expansion that will be launched on June 6.
