Koei Tecmo Game Developer has announced that the first pack, "Nioh" Dragon of the North PS4 DLC is due to release on May 2 alongside the PvP update. Fans can be sure that this won't be the first and the last contents delivered for this fast-paced action RPG.

Although "Nioh" Dragon of the North PS4 DLC is a paid content, the PvP update will be delivered for free. Since players link this game with "Dark Souls," they expect the PvP system will bear similarity to that title.

There will be three DLC in total that Koei Tecmo will release for this title and "Nioh" Dragon of the North PS4 DLC is the first. The other two entitled Bloodshed's End and Defiant Honor will arrive later in the future.

It is possible to purchase the "Nioh" Dragon of the North PS4 DLC separately for $9.99 or buying the Season Pass DLC bundle for $24.99. It's better to pay for the Season Pass one for gamers will get all three post-launch DLC which are Dragon of the North, Bloodshed's End, and Defiant Honor plus a PlayStation 4 Avatar. By grabbing this Season Pass bundle, fans can also save up $5 in their pocket.

According to PlayStationLifeStyle, "Nioh" Dragon of the North PS4 DLC will bring in new weapon types, scenarios, characters, guardian spirits, Yokai, and Stages. Koei Tecmo reveals the description of The Dragon of the North as 'venture deep into Japan's embattled Northern provinces'.

That could mean that "Nioh" Dragon of the North PS4 DLC or The Dragon of Tohoku as its original title in Japanese will tell the story of Date Masamune, the One-Eyed Dragon (Dokuganryuu) who is a well-known warrior from the Edo-period. Both of the other two contents, the Bloodshed's End and Defiant Honor will be set in the Osaka Siege with the first happens in winter campaign and the latter comes in summer campaign.

For those who have interest with "Nioh" Dragon of the North PS4 DLC but don't have the game, now, it's the right time to purchase one from an online retailer. Koei Tecmo's latest title is in a discount period and can be bought with 40% off, as reported by Attackofthefanboy.
