New details have confirmed that LineageOS has introduced new Quick Settings tiles and changes to included apps. According to reports, the project has been undergoing continuous changes and upgrades as it adds new features and support new devices. It is reported that in addition to the new Quick Settings tiles that were introduced, the LineageOS ROM now supports 15 additional devices.
According to Mobile Scout, the project has displayed magnificent growth over the past few months and has enjoyed attractive positions on charts in terms of custom ROMs. The report stated that LineageOS currently has over one million users, as the company grows day after day.
However, the company has now introduced the quick settings tiles and also extended the support for 15 more devices In the latest LineageOS update. According to Android Police, the project now has many new Quick Settings tiles, some of which are for USB Tether, opening the volume panel, Ambient Display, ADB over a network, and many others.
The report also stated that the LineageOS update also introduced a new improved Gallery app with easy navigation and also minor improvements to the Recorder app. The new Gallery application will also give users the ability to playback videos in fullscreen mode, and an easier navigation when compared to previous gallery app.
It is believed that even though the Quick settings have already been in existence, the updated version of the quick setting tiles make it easier for users to navigate and alter the settings of their device whenever they choose. LineageOS now supports 15 additional devices which include, AT&T LG G3 (d850), updated from CM 13, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (n2awifi), Verizon LG G3 (vs985), updated from CM 13, Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 (jfltevzw), updated from CM 13 and ZUK Z1 (ham), updated from CM 13.
Also included on the list of devices supported by LineageOS are T-Mobile LG V20 (h918), YU Yureka (tomato), International Samsung Galaxy S4 (jfltexx), updated from CM 13, and Lenovo Vibe K5/K5 Plus (A6020). International LG G5 (h850), YU Yuphoria (lettuce), LeEco Le 2 (s2), Korea Samsung Galaxy Note II (t0ltektt), GSM LTE Samsung Galaxy Note II (t0lte) and SK Telecom Samsung Galaxy Note II (t0lteskt) are also supported by the project.
