However, Android users who are interested in downloading the APK version of the new launcher should simply go to XDA Developers and tap on the DOWNLOAD button. It is reported that there is a side note on the download to help visitors with development.

Users who try to run the app but got a negative response, or if it force-closes, are advised to wait for some minutes and then try again. Other reports note that for users to get the download to work well, they would have to side-load the APK file by following the tips provided by the developer.

"First is that, since I signed the APK with my own key, you need to remove all previous versions to be able to install it. Placing it as a system app also enables you Google Now in the left panel," Linuxct said. Secondly, He stated that the app will generate a file known as reflection engine the first time users try to open it.

The reflection engine is required by the Pixel Launcher, but since the PL is not available, the app forcefully exits. He said users should wait for a minute and try again to open it then it should work. Read More: Samsung Galaxy S8 Weather App Now Available For Galaxy S7
