OnePlus 5/ OnePlus 4 Alleged Listing And Leaks Reveal Powerful Smartphone With Killer Specs & Features

Rumors and speculations are rife about the upcoming flagship from OnePlus i.e. OnePlus 4/ OnePlus 5. Since the world was focused on the release of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, OnePlus is up to something new, thanks to a new leak.

First of all, there are several reports which claim that the upcoming flagship from the OnePlus will be either OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5. Since the smartphone manufacturer is a China-based so it's possible that it will skip a number 4 and the flagship would come as OnePlus 5.

According to Tech Radar, in China, number four is a universal sign of bad luck that may force the company to name the phone as OnePlus 5. However, a different theory suggests that the OnePlus 3T has already taken the fourth gen spot, which means the company's next smartphone will have the "5" moniker.

OnePlus 5 is said to be a premium device. Premium is a word which is generally tagged with global tech giants like Samsung and Apple. However, OnePlus is also giving a run for its money with its new upcoming flagship smartphone.

The next generation OnePlus 5 will take inspiration from the already popular OnePlus 3T. In its aim to go head to head with today's big brands like the Apple iPhone, OnePlus 5 will reportedly have high-end and killer specs.

Leaked renders coming from Gizmo China have revealed that OnePlus 5 might be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 SoC that is also equipped in the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. As reported by India Today, OnePlus 5 might come with a Quad HD (2K) 5.5-inch display and 3,000mAh battery.  Qualcomm Quick Charge feature will also be enabled in the upcoming device. The upcoming OnePlus flagship will be running on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.

However this is not the only leaks, one India based website mysmartprice.com has already listed the OnePlus 5's possible specifications. As per the listing on the site, the OnePlus 5 will have a Snapdragon 835 processor with an Adreno 540 GPU. The storage capacity of the phone will be 128GB, that's expandable via a microSD card. OnePlus 5 will be having 8GB of RAM.

OnePlus 5 is also tipped to have a 23MP rear camera which will be coupled with a 16MP front camera. However, there is no official confirmation from the OnePlus has come out regarding these rumors and reports.
