It was October 2015 since Apple updated its iMacs to have a better performance. After two years, the company decided to have pro iMacs to release this year with promising upgrades in its specs and features.

Performance, storage, and expandability are the three target updates that Apple wants to do in its iMac products. With the company announcement regarding the release of updates on the said product, anyone could expect more afterward. It could be a faster processor, pertaining to Xeons or even Core i7s. Better graphic chipsets could be part of the upgrade and one of the most important features is a larger storage capacity. Thunderbolt 3 ports are always on the list for some desktop users. It is hard to say what the pro iMac could give to its valuable consumers.

With the information of the update, Touch Screen is not in the list as Engadget reported. Phil Schiller of Apple said that they will only be focusing on the concerns of iMac users and these are the reason they decided to make an update.

Unlike iMac, Apple's Mac Mini will not get any updates this year. It has been three years since they updated the device. However, even without the update, the company will continue in selling it before they decided to pull it out in the market. "On that I'll say the Mac Mini is an important product in our line-up and we weren't bringing it up because it's more of a mix of consumer with some pro use. The Mac Mini remains a product in our line-up, but nothing more to say about it today." John Paczkowski from Apple said according to the report of 9to5mac. It only means that Mac Mini is still one of their best products ever made in the history of Apple.

In this new information, everyone can still guarantee that Apple only wants the best for their consumers. This year, you could witness a brand new version of iMac and updated features that are essential for every Apple users.
