Sony Xperia L1 UK, Europe Released in Early June; Specs Recap

Sony Xperia L1 has been unveiled two weeks ago and the Japanese-based Company has made it crystal clear about the device's availability, revealing that the Smartphone might not hit the shelves until early June. This could mean that the original release month is pushed back from April to June.

Sony Xperia L1 is originally scheduled to release in Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia in April. The Smartphone, however, is now expected to arrive in early June in several countries like the UK and Europe.

A UK retailer, Clove states that Sony recently announced that its latest android flagship first batch is set to be launched in early June for the UK. With that being said, The Japanese-based Company hasn't revealed anything regarding the price of Sony Xperia L1 to retailers.

Consumers can subscribe to Clove's website and has the chance to be notified with the newest information about Sony Xperia L1. The UK retailer doesn't spill anything about the price, but Sony, indeed, said that the cost range will be affordable.

Customers who make up his decision to purchase Sony's android handset via Clove will be able to choose the gadget's color, consisting of Black, White, and Pink. It is believed that in the next upcoming weeks, Sony will release more details about the Sony Xperia L1, including the pricing and exact launching time.

For the specs recap, Sony Xperia L1 is a mid-range phone and following the Sony's traditional rectangular body design framed with slightly thick bezels both at the top and bottom of the android handset, as reported by AndroidHeadlines. The Smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable via microSD card slot (up to 256GB).

Measuring a 5.5-inch HD display screen with 720p resolution, Sony Experia L1 looks very stunning and gives the appearance of a premium mobile. According to Phonearena, the Japanese-based Company also provides a pretty good camera setup for this Smartphone, bearing a 13-megapixel back camera alongside with a secondary 5-megapixel selfie cam.

There's a possibility that other countries will receive the Sony Xperia L1 earlier than June. The UK and Europe markets, however, should expect the device in June for the earliest.
