As Oculus Rift sale comes to an end, HTC is all set to introduce Vive Anniversary offer. With April 5, 2017 as the HTC Vive VR One Year Anniversary sale, the tech giant has termed it as "Vive Day". As per latest reports, the company would be offering a whopping discount of $100 on Vive headset, Viveport Subscription as well as free content.

HTC Vive VR was launched on April 5, 2016 that brought virtual reality close to the living room. In fact, in just a year the content available ion the headset has increased a lot. Alongside, HTC is also launching other accessories such as Delux Audio Strap and Vive Tracker. That's not all, the tech biggie has also launched a recent financial plan to help people afford the $800 system.

HTC has also been showcasing their own VR content storefront Viveport. However, to celebrate HTC Vive's first anniversary and the store launch, the tech giant has introduced several plans. One of these include the one day only $100 discount. Included in the $700 are several games such as Zombie Training Simulator (2016), The Gallery - Episode 1: Call of the Starseed (2016), Everest VR (2016), Richie's Plank Experience (2016), Forbes reported.

New as well as current HTC Vive VR owners can also redeem free copy of Arcade Saga (2016). The normal cost of the game is around $20. However, it would be available for free for the users on April 5, 2017. As per Road To VR, users can either redeem at Viveport desktop app or at Viveport.com. Along with this, HTC would also launch the HTC Viveport Subscription. It would be a $7 a month service whereby users would have access to five VR games every month.

Interestingly, the HTC Vive VR users would be able to interchange among the five games to get access to new games. Users would also be able to buy any Viveport Subscription apps if they want permanent access. HTC also promised it would introduce the official Vive Blog that would include more free downloads to mark the anniversary. However, it is not clear which games would be included.
