It may look like Samsung releasing Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones the highlight of their plans but there could be more. The South Korean multinational company is allegedly preparing to unveil a new phone that could be foldable, which is dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy X.
Currently, there are reports that Samsung is focusing on the development of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as it would try to redeem the phone's series after the unpopularity of is predecessor phone, the Galaxy Note 7. However, people initiated the rumors about the existence of the foldable phones after Samsung got the stamp of approval for having a trademark certificate for "Samsung Galaxy X".
Moreover, there are indications that the Samsung Galaxy X will be launched earlier than the Galaxy Note 8. It adds more fuel to the rumor mill about these devices.
This info came from a known tech tipster named @mmddj_china, who is based on the Samsung community blog called the Samsung Galaxy Club. He tweeted that the Samsung Galaxy X will be available in the third quarter of the year and not on the first quarter of 2018.

If @mmddj_china's tip is true, it cold mean that the Samsung Galaxy X will have a competition with the rival company Apple and its highly anticipated iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 is expected to have a list of features like 3D selfie camera, touch sensors, and more.
