‘Agents of Mayhem’ Volition’s Game Sequel to Saints Row; Release Date & Storyline

Deep Silver recently announced that Volition's "Agents of Mayhem" will be soon available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs this year's August 15 in North America regions and August 18 in Europe. The single-player, open-world, third-person action game was developed by Volition; the studio that created the Saints Row series.

"Agents of Mayhem" was set in the same universe similar to Volition's "Saints Row" which took place after the Recreate Earth, "Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell" finale. This game is a single player open-world action plus adventure game which clearly draws a lot from comic books while retaining Volition's explosive and snarky vibe trademarks.

According to Gematsu, "Agents of Mayhem" official Twitter page recently released a teaser for their upcoming trailer that premieres on April 3 but seems to appear early. The game will have twelve agents to choose from when venturing out for the missions, however only four have been revealed so far; namely hardtack, Hollywood, Rama, and Fortune.

"Agents of Mayhem" storyline begun when the nations of the Earth have fallen under the rule of LEGION which is a super villainous cabal of criminal masterminds and costumed megalomaniacs; only MAYHEM is left standing to take back the world. Players can control a group of unique and diverse Agents to cause mayhem in the open world of Seoul, and stop the evil plots of the nefarious forces of LEGION.

According to PC Gamer, "Agents of Mayhem" also features the fight to LEGION that takes place in Seoul: The City of Tomorrow which is an open world brimming with world-shaking missions, evil underground liars, and city spanning doomsday devices. The game also features on taking three agents into the battlefield and swap them on the fly for maximum mayhem, along with upgrades and customizations of Agents to create a personal dream team of gadget-wielding anti-heroes, and an upgrade to the ARK-MAYHEM HQ that unlocks even more mayhem-making means.
