LG G6 Is Getting First Update On T -Mobile, Here’s More To Know

T-Mobile is the first US carrier that started shipping LG G6 pre orders. Along with this, T-Mobile is also releasing the first ever update to the device. The update would be coming as a software version H87210e. It would weigh around 124MB. However, till now, there is no information regarding what changes the update would bring.

As of now, the users only know few details that states LG G6 would receive Android 7.0, Android Security Patch Level has been mentioned as March 1, 2017 along with several other details. The earlier version launched with March and software update H87210b got updated to H87210e.

T-Mobile has been rolling out the update for LG G6 across the US. However, the exact change log for the present LG G6 update is not known. But from the fact that it weights just 124MB, it suggests the update might include major fixes and improvements, PhoneArena reported.

According to The Android Soul, even though the LG G6 update has been rolled out on T-Mobile,users need to ensure they have sufficient battery on their device to initiate the download. Also, users are suggested to connect their device to WiFi for faster download. After downloading the update, the users need to click Restart and Install button to get the update installed.

Interestingly, T-Mobile had started shipping, LG's flagship device, LG G6 on March 24, 2017. This was way before the official launch of the device that is scheduled for April 7, 2017. On the other hand, just to keep the marketing gimmick alive and to stay ahead of its competitors, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, LG has launched a black color of the device in South Korea. That's not all, the tech giant has also giving away free Android Wear 2.0 LG Watch Style along with G6 in Russia.
