DJI’s Mavic Pro drone is not just a new drone. It is a whole new type of drone, according to DJI. Drone enthusiasts and professionals consider the DJI Mavic Pro drone “the best all-around drone that money can buy.”
BGR explains that drone users have a high regard for the DJI Mavic Drone because it is the result of a perfect marriage of a high-quality camera, flying ability that could not be matched by other drone makers and low-profile design. There is one more reason why the drone stands out. Among the many quadcopter options in the market, it is the only compact model that is easy to travel with, but its quality or function is not sacrificed.
Other premium drones are tedious when it comes to disassembling the unit to bring along on a trip. But the DJI Mavic Pro drone’s design folds in on itself and fits safely even in the tightest bag. Members of the DJI team note that DJI Mavic Pro drone prototype was larger than originally planned. They made another prototype in which the arms took half the volume only, but the team fixed the balance issue eventually by ensuring the drone’s arms hug the whole device in an ergonomic way, DJI Community reports.
But beyond its compact design, the DJI Mavic Pro drone is known for offering crisp and stable HD video at 4K/30fps or 1,080p/96fps even when it flies into winds of 19 to 24 mph. While its onboard camera shoots at slightly smaller frame compared to the DJI Phantom 4, it has a rotating module that changes the orientation to portrait from landscape, which photographers appreciate.
The DJI Mavic Pro drone comes with an accompanying app that gives the owner total control of the drone in adjusting a lot of things, from color balance to flight path, 9TO5Mac reports. By selecting the Point of Interest among the gadget’s Intelligent Flight Modes, the drone could circle a selected point or repeat paths if Waypoints Mode is selected. TapFly manipulates the drone’s path. Choosing ActiveTrack makes the drone follow any moving item while picking Terrain Follow instructs the drone to keep a safe distance from the ground and obstacles ahead.
