Apr 03, 2017 09:50 AM EDT

Apple recently released a cheaper variant of the iPad Pro variant, terming it just 'iPad' replacing the obsolete iPad Air 2. However, earlier rumors had speculated that the manufacturer would be instead introducing their second generation of iPad Pro devices during the same time.

While the iPad 2017 edition has some major compromises in its hardware segment to achieve their asking price, fresh reports emerge alleging that the makers of the iPhone, are planning to introduce the new tablets sometime in Spring this year with the potential announcement of the iPad Pro 10.5-inch variant.

A report from Forbes states that there is a high possibility that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro tablet from Apple will be unveiled very soon, probably this month according to a statement from IHS Markit analyst, Rhoda Alexander who had an interaction with Forbes the past weekend. She believes that the production has already begun for the new iPad 10.5-inch tablet as well as other products in its segment.

With the Apple WWDC nearing its commencement, initial rumors at least predicted that Apple plans to unveil the new iPad Pro variants during their developer conference. At the moment, Apple's plans for the product to be launched, are more or less unclear with some sources claiming that the iPad Pro 10.5-inch variant, being unveiled at their new corporate headquarters 'Apple park'.

Meanwhile, details from MacRumors claims that sources close to Apple who requested complete anonymity, clearly expects Apple to come out with the new iPad Pro 10.5-inch variants in Spring. An Apple pundit feels that a September launch for the new tablet would make more sense.

Apple Park, their new campus will serve as their new location for operations and even product announcements. All employees are expected to move into the new place in April.
