The LG V30 is supposedly the flagship device from the South Korean electronics manufacturer for 2017. Latest rumors from the internet indicate that the new phone will likely be without an 'always-on' display that was a secondary panel on the top. The smartphone has will see some minor changes to its design and hardware department with some major changes underway.
Going into the reports, details from GSMArena reveals that LG will apparently introduce a dual-lens front facing camera which is a bit unusual for a flagship. 2017 has been a healthy acceptor of changes in smartphone design, with the Samsung Galaxy S8 leading the charge. That said, with the new design from LG V30, the fact that there will be a dual-lens camera configuration both in the front and the back of the smartphone might be a great news for smartphone photographers.
An image rendered of the new LG V30 has been leaked online revealing that the 140px tall secondary 'always-on' display has now been compromised to achieve the placement for two new lenses on the front. That said, the lack of secondary display might be a bit of a major compromise since it served in displaying key notifications alongside shortcuts to frequently used apps by a user. In other reports, a WCCFTech report is also fairly confident about the design changes compatible with water resistance.
It seems that the LG V30 will be sporting the latest Snapdragon 835 processor from Qualcomm. With the release of the new LG smartphone, it will be the flagship smartphone from the manufacturer which has been the case for some time now with LG concentrating on improving the 'V' series smartphones likely due to the downfall of the G-series smartphones. LG's current product offered to the market is the LG G6 that comes with a Snapdragon 821 chipset, Adreno 530 graphics and 4B RAM.
