"Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" came out earlier this month and it was exclusive for Nintendo Switch only. Fortunately, Yacht Club Games has recently announced that the game will be soon available for 3DS, PCs, and Wii U this coming April 5, 2017. To Be Determined dates in April are 3DS and Wii U in America and Europe regions as well as PS3, PS Vita, PS 4, Amazon Fire TV, and Xbox One.
According to Siliconera, a new update has been released for Nintendo Switch versions for both "Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove" and "Specter of Torment" which will bring the games to version 3.0A and adds various fixes. Additionally, the new update also enables both to run at 1080p while the Switch is docked.
"Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove" and "Specter of Torment" update 3.0A includes several changes, enhancement, and fixes in the game that includes fixing the crash when defeating the final boss with a German language settings, fixed a bug that allows Specter Knight to Judgement Rush to an unintended locations during certain scenes, and Horace sometimes rewarding the wrong gold amount when reaching the game's Tower Top.
According Kickstarter, "Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove" and "Specter of Torment" update 3.0A also features a fixed support for Players 2's controller within calibrates screen prompts, Delete All now resets screen scale and brightness settings, and enhancements in a broken camera transition when falling into a certain death pit for the game's Event 2.
"Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove" and "Specter of Torment" update 3.0A also updates various text improvements and localizations which change the Shovel/Plague, the one that wanders encounter Reize will no longer cross over into the second tier of stages if the game is below 25 minutes. As for "Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove" and "Specter of Torment" in Nintendo Switch, the update 3.0A now outputs at a 1080p resolution while playing in docked mode.
