Players of the cross-over action role-playing game "Kingdom Hearts" are still waiting for the third sequel. It has been a decade since the release of the second sequel and the game has since release a collection of it.
But with the upcoming event of Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California this July, fans are now expecting any announcement regarding the "Kingdom Hearts 3". If ever there is no announcement this year, fans are still hopeful for the announcement in Japan next year.
The D23 Expo, a biennial event, was first established in Anaheim, California last 2009 and in Japan last 2013. The expo is focusing on all things Disney like popular animation, movies, and video games like the "Kingdom Hearts", according to in an article published in KH Insider.
This year, the fifth D23 Expo will happen on July 14 to 16, 2017, with a new exhibit made by the Walt Disney Archives expected to have its first look in the three-day event. It is expected to have exciting features like the D23 Expo costume contest, the Disney Legends Ceremony, and the D23 Expo Emporium. Fans are also expecting that "Kingdom Heart 3" news and any information would also be part of the event.
But fans are more excited and more convinced that the "Kingdom Hearts 3" in D23 Expo in Japan this 2018 which will be held from Feb. 10 to Feb 12. It would be held at the Tokyo Disney Resort, as posted on Disney's official site.
D23 Expo Japan has been the first place to reveal some news regarding the game that features the beloved character Sora, Riku, Kairi and Disney characters Goofy and Donald Duck. So fans are also expecting that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be confirmed in the event.
In D23 Expo 2013, the second HD remaster of "Kingdom Hearts 3" predecessor called "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix" was announced in the event, surprising people and the game's fans. A footage of the third sequel was shown in the event last 2015.
