‘Pokemon Sun & Moon’ Eggs In 5th Global Mission Hatch 2 Times Faster If Kept With Flame Body Or Magma Armor Ability

The fifth global mission of “Pokemon Sun and Moon” was hardly challenging for gamers. A goal of hatching 200,000 eggs was given to players and even before 24 hours ended, around 400,000 eggs have been hatched. “Hatch a lot of Eggs!” promised to reward PGL members with 4,000 Festival Coins and non-members 2,000 Coins.

Players meet goal on 1st day

The fifth global mission of “Pokemon Sun and Moon” was launched on Wednesday, March 29, and players met the goal on the first day even if the event is slated to last until April 10. Besides the FC points for PGL and non-PGL members, players of “Hatch as lot of Eggs!” would also get a Love Ball for those whose games are tied to a Global Link account, Siliconera reports.

“Pokemon Sun and Moon” gamers who failed to join the live event on its launch could still get the egg. They must visit Festival Plaza and talk to the castle’s receptionist. The next step is to go to Panila Ranch to begin discovering eggs. The eggs, under the “Hatch a lot of Eggs!” fifth global mission, are discovered by leaving Pokemon at the Pokemon Nursery at the ranch on Akala Island.

Tips how the eggs could hatch twice as fast

To discover eggs outside the Nursery, the Pokemon Breeder must leave a male and female Pokemon from the same egg group, or leave a Pokemon of either gender with a Ditto, according to VG247. Once the egg is with the “Pokemon Sun and Moon” player participating in the “Hatch a lot of Eggs!” fifth global mission, the Pokemon Breeder must walk around with the egg until it hatches.

By keeping an egg with the Flame Body or Magma Armor Ability in the Pokemon Breeder’s party, the egg, which is part of the “Hatch a lot of Egg!” fifth global mission of “Pokemon Sun and Moon,” – available on Nintendo 2DS and 3DS - would hatch twice as fast. Trainers who fall short would still get 200 or 400 Festival coins, Game Rant reports.
