A fan-based forum dedicated to Jeep has recently leaked the CAD-rendered images of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Fans would not notice several changes from the 2017 variant at first look, but there are a few changes noted on the upcoming model.
Taking a look at the tweaks on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, fans will be delighted to find that the upcoming variant has retained a sturdy frame with detachable doors and roof. A difference from the previous model spotted on the CAD-rendered images is the placement of a vent behind the front-facing fenders, which are there to improve aerodynamics, AutomobileMag reported. Moreover, viewers will notice that the fenders differ from the JK version of the vehicle.

Other notable differences in the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from the JK model is the upgrading of the front bumper. Now, fans will find that the foglights are relocated from the central position to the sides. Furthermore, the top portion of the vehicle slants a little as we head towards the rear end, which is a similar layout as seen in the Jeep Shortcut concept revealed at Jeep Easter Safari event in 2016. Further design changes are seen in the headlights, which now merges in the outer grille slats, FoxNews noted.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's revealed CAD-rendered images also indicate a new character line just beneath the windows. Images also suggest slightly changed door handles. The new model also reveals a windshield, which apparently is upright, with updated hinges. Considering the rear of the upcoming model, new taillights come into focus with a side-hinged tailgate with opposite-facing hinges.
There also seems to be an indentation featured in the rear bumper, possibly for the spare tire, with corners carved with steps, as informed by Car Advice. There is still an official announcement to be made regarding the reveal of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, but reports suggest that these could be the official model releasing at the L.A. Auto show in November, hopefully.
