The newly released Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have gained so much attention that even Microsoft is looking forward to getting hold of something out of them. It has been a while since Microsoft started using Android OS with its notable mobile apps such as Cortana and Office Suite. Earlier today, it was announced that a Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus Microsoft Edition will be available in their retail stores.

So far, there are no further details on what exactly the firm mean by their announcement. To back this announcement, ZDNet noted that the two devices are likely to get pre-installed Microsoft applications and services. Moreover, the company released a statement about their Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus Microsoft Edition smartphones, which informs about the company's commitment towards its customers through Microsoft and Office applications.

"The new device customization is an example of bringing together Microsoft applications on more devices so customers can work, play and connect from their pockets," Microsoft said in a statement.   Further updates on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus Microsoft Edition phones note of acquiring the Microsoft apps at the retail store itself. It is reported that customers, who purchase either of the devices from Microsoft stores will have to connect to the retailer's Wi-Fi only and download the apps.

Readers should also understand that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus Microsoft Edition smartphones are quite similar to the original versions, 9To5Google reported. So, purchasing the device from Microsoft retailers will only benefit customers with full version apps without additional payment. As per reports, the devices will start selling on the same date as the rest of the original ones, which is on April 21. Also, the preorders for the phones have also started today. For now, there is no other report on what else Microsoft will offer with the phones.
