Apple Releases First Public Beta of iOS 10.3.2 For iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch

Mar 30, 2017 08:58 AM EDT

Apple released the first iOS 10.3 public beta testing program for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. iOS 10.3.2 public beta 1 follows one day after the first developer version of the upcoming software update.

Apple's public beta program is free to participate in unlike its paid developer program. Apple iOS 10.3.2 will be seeded to everyone in the future, and the public beta will allow more users to test pre-release versions of the software update before it's confirmed.

Right now, however, no significant release notes go together with the new beta software releases. Up to now, iOS 10.3.2 become visible to only contain bug fixes and minor revisions to problems introduced with Monday's more major updates.

Registered Apple iOS devices can obtain the beta through the regular upgrade process or through iTunes also. While the macOS Sierra 10.12.5 beta is not released yet for public testers, the tvOS 10.2.1 and watchOS 3.2.2 betas are debuting on Tuesday will probably never be made available for non-developers, according to Apple Insider.

As with Tuesday's beta releases, there are no binaries for the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and iPad 4. However, it is till now unclear on whether this is a permanent omission, or if there will be 32-bit binaries for the betas in the future.

The version numbers also suggest that we should only see under-the-hood bug fixes and security improvements in these releases when they are ready. Apple's iOS 10.3 release included Find My AirPods, CarPlay improvements, a new APFS file system, and much more, as per 9to5 Mac.

Apple does say that this update will fixes the new SiriKit car commands that should now work as expected. Should anything new be found in the Apple iOS 10.3.2 beta, we will keep you updating. Stay tuned to Droid Report for more news.
