Upcoming iOS 11 Features Smarter and Powerful Siri: Start of Voice Assistant War against Apple Competitors?

Apple just recently launched its newest update, iOS 10.3 to its software, however, rumors are already circulating online that iOS 11 is already in the works. What's more remarkable with this rumored update is that a powerful and a smarter Siri is also forthcoming!

Siri is one of the features that Apple has but numerous reports suggest that the voice assistant that is expected to make life convenient doesn't seem to function very well. What most of the users are complaining about is that there is always a delay response from this virtual assistant. Hence, as MacWorld reported that iOS 11 will be released and available to the public this September 2017, the users are expecting an upgraded voice assistant as well.

However, recent speculations from an Israeli site, The Verifier, said that Apple voice assistant Siri isn't just a simple feature of the update but could be the massive feature of looming iOS 11. According to rumors, this upcoming update is solely suitable for iPad users while it is still unclear if it applies to all iPhone users.

Siri on upcoming iOS 11 has an upgraded system wherein it will act based on the recorded conversation. Like Google's assistant, the Apple voice assistant will also suggest a relevant restaurant if talking about sushi. 

In addition, Siri in upcoming iOS 11 may enable iCloud to identify the "connection between devices" that is associated with an Apple ID. However, this will be successfully executed if the said voice virtual assistant identified the user's demand.

Also, The Verified included in its report that Siri isn't just for iOS 11 but will be embedded into the TV Platform and the smart watch as well. The said voice assistant will offer wider functionalities in the field of television and it will also bring deeper and newer possibilities for Apple Watches 4.0/3.5. However, the Company may still postpone this upcoming voice assistant.
