In a bid to widen its audience apart from PCs and well-established consoles, Ubisoft has announced that its bringing its first-person shooting game "ShadowBreak" from the famed Tom Clancy franchise to mobile devices. And for iOS and Android users, this announcement is clearly just an icing on top of their cakes.

IGN reported that Tom Clancy's "ShadowBreak" will be hitting the iOS and Android devices on or before the end of 2017. Ubisoft's upcoming iteration is slated to serve up real-time multiplayer shooter experience in which players can assume control of a group of disowned military specialists. Another gameplay detail that was revealed was that players can send armed units to take over bases in real time, PvP combat style. They can also pick off enemies one by one with the aid of their sniper rifle.

Tom Clancy's 'ShadowBreak" will also offer a slew of numerous weapons along with gears & troops. This inclusion will allow players to customize their loadout accordingly. In addition, they can earn rewards in each victory they are able to achieve that can also be used to beef up their squads and weaponry.

For the uninitiated, Tom Clancy's "ShadowBreak" will be structured into three-minute matches in which players can deploy and position troops to go after their enemies indirectly, During which, they can move their characters into position so they could snipe soldiers on the surface. As per Digital Trends, the game will also feature a competitive multiplayer mode. For fans of the hit Sniper Elite series, this feature will already be familiar to them.

According to Ubisoft's creative director A.J. Morales, "If you're a great marksman with an inferior troop loadout, you're still going to have a strong avenue to victory." Developed by Ubisoft Halifax, Tom Clancy's "ShadowBreak" follows the releases of "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" this month and "Tom Clancy's The Division" in 2016.
