Finally, the time has come for people hyping up with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. With the unveiling of the South Korean tech company's flagship smartphones, the design was firstly noticed by people.
What people noticed first with the unwrapping of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is the absence of white, gold and silver versions of the smartphones. Instead, the color palette of the smartphones had a more subdued turn.
In the launch, there are five color options for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. These are Midnight Black, Artic Silver, Maple Gold, Coral Blue and Orchid Gray, Tech Radar has reported.

These might be the only colors that were shown in the launching of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus but there could be more. It is expected for the company to release more colors of the phone with fire engine red as one of Samsung's speculated color on their smartphone, Kris Carlon of Android Authority has said in his article.
It is also noticed in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ that there is various metallic sheen on each different phone. Unlike what most people saw in the leaks, the front bezel of all the phones is black and a matching wallpaper.
In US and Europe, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be only available in Orchid Gray, Artic Silver, and Midnight Black. Here are the reviews for the three colors:
Orchid Gray
The Orchard Gray version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus may cause confusion with the Coral and the Artic Silver. What could be this color's exclusive feature is its subtle lilac undertone that could please the eyes of the user.
This color of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has black bezels located on the front that could not really fit. However, the silver metal edges and the shapeshifting mauve back panel complement each other, making the design looks classy.
Arctic Silver
Artic Silver may look like the color of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+'s predecessor Note 7. However, it looks like less mirror-like compared to its semi-identical color of the previous phone.
The Artic Silver on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 also show some slight gold hue to it. With this color, the camera, flash, and fingerprint scanner on the back are noticeable.
Midnight Black
Last but not the least, the Midnight Black on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ looks the same as the black Galaxy Note 7. It looks sexy with the camera lens and fingerprint scanner merging to the ink-like blackness of the back glass.
It is also noticeable in this color of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ that the side buttons are almost invisible on the black metal frame and the black bezels on the front make the Midnight Black is a consistent color.
