Google Maps Beta ‘Save Your Parking’ Feature Replaced by Share Your Location

Google has recently removed the Save Your Parking feature from its beta channel of Google Maps after ten days of trial. Earlier this month, its functionality was initially debuted and disappeared from the app in the same it originally appeared; without any particular announcements.

Following the Google App, the Google Maps beta version received upgrades to 9.49.1 and 9.49.2, however, it's unclear which package removed the Save Your Parking Feature. According to JOE, the Alphabet-owned tech company might have limited the option of manually saving one's parking location through a server-side update.

Google Maps beta version Save Your Parking feature is definitely gone and has been replaced with a Share Your Location functionality that freshly started rolling out to more users following its removal from Google+. With the ten-day trial, beta users of Google Maps were able to manually save up the location of their parking spot by just tapping the blue dot icon in the app and selecting the save Your Parking option. Google Company has never made any particular announcements about the removal of Save Your Parking feature; theories has been created that it's possible that the feature is still in an extended development.
