It has been almost 9 months after the official launch of the Honor Note 8 phablet (and now it looks like the time has come to see its successor. The recently leaked image shows the back panel of the smartphone, which carries a dual-camera setup. However, the smartphone design looks a bit similar to Apple iPhones, but again we have seen a lot of smartphones getting 'inspired' by this design.

According to the leaked photo, noted by Gizchina, the device is the forthcoming Honor Note 9, which will be packing a dual camera design on the back, along with a fingerprint scanner below the camera, a dual LED flash and full metal design. If you see how large the phone is when compared to the hand in the photo, then you can easily deduct that it will be a monstrous phablet that will be equipped with a larger than 6 inches display.

There are only a few things that can be recognized by looking leaked image. The Honor Note 9 will pack unibody design, a bezel-less display, however, it will not have any hardware buttons on the front and is expected has a 2K display like the Note 8.

It is also believed that the Honor Note 9 will be a supersized version of the V9 (V8 Pro). The device is also thought to sport a Kirin 960 chipset, just like the Huawei Mate 9 and P10. The rest of the specs includes a Quad HD LCD display, 6GB RAM, 12MP 4K-capable camera and a 4,000 mAh battery, according to GSM Arena.

Considering by the September release of the Honor Note 8 a successor of the device Honor Note 9 is expected to wait a few more months before making its launch. However, the information about the device is gloomy as of now, and there is no official word about the device from Huawei, so we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
