Moto G5 Plus Offers Users With A Plenty Of Quick Access Shortcuts

Moto, now owned by parent firm Lenovo came out with a new budget smartphone with the release of Moto G5 Plus recently. Moto's G series of smartphones aimed at budget smartphone users. The fifth generation of Moto G smartphones come in two variants, the bigger variant being the Plus variant that comes at an additional price of $60. With two new products, Moto has integrated a lot of features into their ROM which helps in users accessing certain apps quickly.

Taking a look at its specifications from GSMArena, the Moto G5 Plus is equipped with a Snapdragon 625 Processor along with either 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. An IPS LCD display at a size of 5.2-inches has a resolution of 1080p and Corning Gorilla Glass on the top. Reviews from the internet have praised the display on the new device.

Meanwhile, a detailed report from Digital Trends highlights all the features integrated into the software on the Moto G5 Plus. The fingerprint scanner on the phone now serves an additional purpose. Swiping right opens all the recently used apps while double tapping on it will direct users to the home screen. To use the quick shortcuts, the same has to be enabled from the Moto app under actions and then enabling one button navigation.

Split screen feature is now directly implemented to the operating system which wasn't the case before. Apart from that, users will now be able to take photos by touching anywhere on the display. To make use of it, the 'tap anywhere' feature has to be enabled under shutter type in the camera app settings. While there are more feature additions to it, the phone now also supports NFC which is a nice addition considering the cost of the phone.
