The Cupertino-based company Apple is expected to come out with a successor to the existing Apple Watch Series 2, with the potential release of the third generation of Apple watch this year. While the WWDC hasn't begun yet, there are certain rumors that predict possibly new features on the upcoming Apple watch for this year. Apparently, an analyst overheard about the significant changes for Apple Watch Series 3 this year.

A report from Apple investor believes that an analyst when on a trip to Asia, Apple Watch Series 3 will reportedly be equipped with a SIM card that's also LTE compatible with access to VOIP. For this, Apple is considering a low-powered CAT chip to introduce the aforementioned features and to also combat possible battery concerns. His statement doesn't just cover Apple Watch 3 but there's also a new hint about the upcoming iPhones.

Actual details from 9To5Mac highlight about all possible features being introduced to the iPhones. With what seems to be a good news for new iPhone buyers this year, Apple's reportedly planning to implement wireless charging technology for all the three rumored iPhones for which Apple has assigned the manufacturing process to Pegatron and Foxconn this year. Pegatron for information are also the same manufacturers for Microsoft's new Surface Studio devices.

To implement the new features on the Apple Watch Series 3, Apple's suppliers are currently debating a hybrid solution to satisfy both needs. However, details from the website also revealed that the new smartwatch might also be equipped with a USB Type-C Reversible connector. While these are all likely rumors, a possible product might only be unveiled sometime next year. As usual, reports like these can only be based on a tip-off from someone else. Hence it's likely recommended to treat this as 'another rumor'.
