Samsung Galaxy S8 Update: Smartphone Rumored To Use Sony IMX333

As days have gone passed by, new information about the Samsung Galaxy S8 specs are keep coming and surfacing on the internet. This time, people who are hyped up on Samsung's flagship got new information regarding the camera specs.

There are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will use the Sony IMX333 for rear-facing camera. However, is is still not yet confirmed by any officials. 

In an article published by Phone Arena, AnTuTu Benchmark, one of the most popular benchmarking app, confirmed the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S8 camera. In their official blog, they showed some snapshots of the device that passed their benching routine.

The same thing with the Samsung Galaxy S8 is that the SM-G955D and 955U below denotes the S8+ international. It is also reported that there will be unlocked version of it in the US.

Another thing that was discovered in the AnTuTu specs listings is that the Samsung Galay S8 will equip with an 8MP front-facing cameras. This is an improvement from the 5 MP units of the predecessor's smartphone.

With this upgrade in the camera specs of the Samsung Galaxy S8, there might be some upgrades like the autofocus selfies and snappers as rumored before. The phone will also be equipped with the 64 GB of storage, which is an upgrade from last year's 32 GB editions.

The snap shows the SM-G950F denotes the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 version with Exynos 8895. Meanwhile, the G950U was the unlocked unit with the Snapdragon 835 that was allegedly will be carried in various US carriers like AT&T and Verizon, GSM Arena has reported.

The screen resolution of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is listed with 1080x1920 and 1080x2220. Meaning, the Full HD could be the screen's default mode. There are also rumors that there would be an 18:5:9 aspect ratio for the phone.

In another leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S8+, the time is sized up with the S7 edge. This new aspect ration would make the smartphone taller but it would also look narrower.
