The Nintendo Switch has been difficult to come by despite the numerous re-supplying news propagating online. However, users are reportedly encountering technical issues with regard to the consoles. If that is the case, then consumers can breathe a sigh of relief that they weren't able to purchase the Switch.
According to Daily Express, a number of users have encountered technical issues such as connectivity issues with regards to the left Joy-Con of the Nintendo Switch. However, the president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, is insisting that this technical problem is not a significant issue.
The company has also recently denied that this problem is widespread, previously. However, in a recent update, Nintendo revealed that it has identified the problem and has rectified their manufacturing process to correct the problem.
With the demand for the Nintendo Switch still rising, the new Nintendo Switch units, those altered by the new manufacturing protocol, are expected to shore up the stocks of the major retailers. However, no one knows when exactly these free-of-technical-issue consoles would flood the market.
However, if the consumer still wants to purchase a Nintendo Switch, the consoles will be available in certain outlets such as Smyths, Argos, Tesco, and Amazon. According to the website of Smyths, new stocks of the Nintendo Switch are expected to arrive between March 21 and March 26.
Amazon reports that it will have the Switch by March 31. Tesco, on the other hand, claims that it will be re-supplied with Nintendo Switch on March 30. As for Argos, consumers have to visit their website periodically to know whether it has been re-stocked.
To say that the Nintendo Switch is selling like popcorn is an understatement. It has done so well in the market. So well, in fact, that it's been routinely reported to be out of stock. However, with this connectivity issue coming to the forefront, people who have failed to purchase the Switch a few weeks after its release can consider themselves lucky.
That said, since the Nintendo Company has already identified the problem and put forward an action plan that would amend their manufacturing process, consumers can rest assured that the next batch of the Switch will be in order. Now, if only Nintendo can just speed up the process to re-supply the major retail outlets, Nintendo Switch hunters would be the happiest people on the planet.
