Reports from NDTV Gadgets convey that Moto G5 Plus as per Flipkart has become the top-selling smartphone among its price segment. Their records show that upon its official launch on March 15th, the rate of sale in the Indian market was more than 50 units per minute. The device has two variants: 3GB and 16GB RAM storage, which went out of stock already for just the first few minutes of the sale. It is sported with a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Its processor is powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC, as per the report.
A review made by CNBC suggests that Lenovo's key purpose for the acquisition of Motorola Mobility is to utilize Motorola's brand name in helping the company get a strong foothold in the U.S., through carrier partnerships. Lenovo uses the Moto brand to continue the production the eminent Moto G series which are known for their low-cost but high-value smartphones. This android device is no exception with Motorola's branding for having a great battery life. Hence, their fifth device, the high-end model Moto G5 Plus, is truly a value for money with a price tag starting at only US$229-$239.
