Nintendo NES Classic Edition Mini Stock Update: You Can Still Get NES Classic Mini At Higher SRP; Reasons For Limited Stock

Mar 25, 2017 08:18 AM EDT

Nintendo NES Classic Mini has been proven to be indefinable as it is not readily available for gamers. Since its release, it has been difficult for everyone to get their hands on the high end console because of limited stocks. Many are wondering if this trend will ever be changed or if it will remain to be hard to get the console.

As per the Daily Star report, Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo President told its investors that the reason behind the unavailability of Nintendo NES Classic Mini is because of some of its parts require time to procure. However, the team at Nintendo are doing their best to increase the production so more gamers can experience the palm-sized retro console.

Kimishima has apologized for the lack of stocks as people have expressed their disappointment due to limited stock availability. From November, Nintendo NES Classic Mini has been highly in demand that it became challenging to come by sometime January of this year. The situation has been that way since then.

Nintendo NES Classic Mini is palm-sized console. It connects to the TV via an HDMI Port and also comes with classic NES pad that is reasonably priced. It is even made better since it can be used to play Virtual Console NES games on Wii U or Wii system when connected via Wii remote controller as well.

The Nintendo NES Classic Mini is ideal for anyone who remembers playing the NES or simply to those who has a nostalgic connection as they relive the experience of using it from the past. It should trigger fun memories when they were kids.

However, according to CNET, the Nintendo NES Classic Mini is available in-store at some GameStops. It is best to call the local store to check if they have any in stock or not. If they do, have it reserved immediately. As it is a highly in-demand commodity, most stores only allow one unit per person to be reserved. However, you should note that it might be more expensive than its SRP.

Some online/physical stores have Nintendo NES Classic Mini stock but it is priced too much high. Chunk Toys reportedly has some stocks available but it retails to around $250. The price varies although so it is best to constantly check. What's good is the retailer may offer free shipping.
