Microsoft is offering another round of price cuts for the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, all part of their deals for the spring. And while the occasion does justify the slashed prices, all of it has been once again tied up to the potential coming off the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and a Surface Book 2.
To date, there is no word on when the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will hit the market. Touted to be the Redmond company’s most powerful hybrid ever, the only update tied up to it, for now, is that the Microsoft people are hard at work on the next big device. Among the potential specs of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 include a 7th generation Kaby Lake chip, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage according to CNet.
The rumored specs alone hint that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will not come cheap, eventually pointing most to await the price-offs on the Surface Pro 4 or even the Surface Book. The offers vary on what Microsoft Surface Pro 4 to get, most depending on the specs. That includes variants with a Core i5, a Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. Prices vary from $1,299 to $1,499 after a look at the Microsoft Store.
The Microsoft Surface Book is another device to consider. The entry-level variant is now available for just $1,299, one that features a Core i5, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. With an anticipated whopping price for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, folks don’t have to wait and decide later. The special deals are already out where the only slight decrease in pricing will likely be made later on.
