Mar 27, 2017 11:56 AM EDT

The recent plans and rumors about the highly anticipated HTC 11 may have a new name during its release, numerous sources say. However, some leaks tell that the upcoming flagship will have a new name instead of the usual. The smartphone already has leaked concepts, specs, features, and design that widely known among customers and fans. However, this is NOT yet official and just expectations from previous versions of HTC smartphones.

Every smartphone that has another new one will always have something new in its system such as the famous Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. This processor is said to be installed in HTC 11 along with numerous features. Furthermore, famous online leaker named Evan Blass leaked some info about an HTC 11 being HTC Ocean instead. His Twitter post mentioned the leak from a designer from HTC, according to Geekreply. The twitter can be viewed below:

This could only mean that the leak MAY be true. If the other rumors are proven true as well, this could mean that the concept of the so-called "HTC Ocean" may be the new name. The specs and features so far are the following: HTC 11 is said to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor with a 3700mAh battery. In addition, the smartphone will have at least 4 to 6 GB RAM with an internal storage of 32 GB and 64 GB variant. The front camera is said to be at 8 megapixels while the rear camera is at 12 megapixels.

Lastly, HTC 11 is said to have a 5.5-inch display with a 1440x2560 resolution. Just recently, the company released a post on an HTC Taiwan Facebook page, with a picture that says: "Spring is coming." The expected release of this new flagship from HTC will be on March 11. The post can be viewed below:

For now, customers who plan to buy HTC 11 should wait for official announcements from HTC themselves to either debunk rumors or prove them true. Stay tuned to DroidReport for more tech news!
