Mar 24, 2017 11:13 AM EDT

The game publisher, Activision released the original version of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" back in 2008, about nine years ago. The first bundle of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC might fill fans with nostalgia as the game company used the same title as the original and brought the improved old game features into the DLC.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC will be available to download for PlayStation 4 (North America and Europe) and Xbox One platforms. The Xbox One owners, however, have to wait at least next month to purchase this DLC

Bringing exactly the same content as the original title, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC features four maps into the multiplayer system, consisting of Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek, and Killhouse. Xboxachievements reports that the DLC contents will be bundled with 10 Rare Supply Drops worth $10 if stands alone.

Activision recently just released a trailer for its "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC, showing each of the four multiplayer maps' conditions that are graphically improved. Just to refresh memories, Broadcast map is based on the campaign mission "Charlie Don't Surf."

According to PlayStationLifeStyle, the Broadcast map provides a unique blend of confined corridors and wide-open spaces, revealing long sightlines view from outside the stations and the parking lot but become cramped hallways once inside. Fans will also see a computer-cluttered broadcast room that gives plenty close-range combat opportunities.

The second map to be featured in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC is Chinatown, introducing a cityscape location in a nighttime foggy downtown district that only lit up by flickering neon signs. Players need to be careful on this map because the Chinatown is not only filled with fog it also has so many buildings that are a perfect cover for enemies waiting for a chance to strike gamers down.

The Creek map in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC starts things up in a wide-open village that is recently annexed and destroyed by combats. In this setting, player's concealment skill is put to the test as covers are very limited in this area. The place will be divided into two by a gaping ravine. This open forest clearing with sheer cliff makes this map ideal for snipers and long-range gunner.

The last of the four maps in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC is the Killhouse, introducing a small training warehouse packed with various building with different cover points (soft and hard). Players will have to rely on intense fast-paced combat and fierce firefights in a close-range battle.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack DLC bundle is priced at $14.99/£11.59, about $15 more than the original title back in 2008. The Downloadable Content will require a 3GB disk space and is now available to purchase for PlayStation 4, as reported by Gamerant.
