Mercedes-Benz will soon reveal their upgraded version of the S-Class Sedan. These updates are a part of the car's mid-cycle update that will bring a number of visual tweaks with an overhaul of the powertrains.
Since the debut update of S-Class Sedan, similar updates will bring to filter across to other models in the S-Class range such as the S-Class Coupe and S-Class Cabriolet. According to Benz Insider, there are few shots was spotted for one of Mercedes-AMG's versions of the updated S-Class Cabrio which is the updated S63 Cabrio. Also the updated S63 Coupe; the updated S65 models are now in progress.
The updated cars will have their bumpers fitted to the prototype that looks to have some tweaks intended for their car's tailings. The tester also features AMG's multi-slatted Panamericana grille which is now slowly becoming the highlight of the Affalterbach tuner's sportier models.
It's still blurry today what mechanical updates are being planned by the company but consumers can expect the current model's twin-turbocharge 5.5-liter V-8 ditched in favor of AMG's twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8. Then 4.0-liter's present highest rating is still the 577 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque in AMG's GT-R sports car which is compared to 577hp along with 664lb-ft that the 5.5-liter delivers in the present S63 range. Consumers can also expect if AMG also features additional GT R's rear-wheel-steering system for better handling.
This updated S-Class Sedan will go on sale within this year that wears a 2018 model. As for the updated two-door models, it will arrive in the following year for the 2019 models as reported by Auto Evolution.
Meanwhile, the new Mercedes AMG S63 has already been trending online. Starting from its looks and design, the new model will follow under the current generation of the S-Class. The new Mercedes AMG S63 will represent a rebooted look that all consumers can see for the three-pointed star brand's flagship.
