“Naruto Shippudent” Bows Out
Before “Boruto: Next Generations” unfolds, “Naruto Shippuden” aired its finale episode on March 23. In the 500th episode, Naruto married his childhood friend, Hinata Hyuga, in a grand wedding ceremony. Present at the special event were Shikamaru, Sakura and Hidden Leaf villagers such as Gaara, Killer Bee and Kakashi. To stand as Naruto’s father in the grand wedding is an emotional Iruka, Celebeat reports.
In the new story arc, the teenage Boruto defeats Otsutsuki Momoshiki, the previous protagonist. He is expected to be strong and stronger than his father Naruto because Momoshiki left a curse mark that would awaken the youth’s untouched Byakugan bloodline, spoilers for “Boruto: Next Generations” state.
Boruto Notices Denki
Comicbook states that in the premiere episode of “Boruto: Next Generations,” while Uzumaki Boruto, the son of Uzumaki Naruto the 7th Hokage, would encounter Kaminarimon Denki while he is on the way to the Ninja Academy. Boruto notices that the chakra of Denki, who got involved with a few delinquents, warped and he acts strangely.
Although Denki was introduced in the first TV spot of “Boruto: Next Generations,” the spin-off anime is an original story not featured in the manga or novels. Besides Denki, a quiet boy who catches Boruto’s attention, the new anime would also feature new characters such as Sarada Uchiha.
But Otakukart hints that the tailed beasts which were the center of power in the entire “Naruto Shippuden” franchise would not be so much involved in the upcoming “Boruto: Next Generations.” The exclusion of the tailed beasts is because Momoshiki and Kinshiki, which lusted after the powers of the Beasts, were defeated, leaving the tailed beasts with no threat to deal with.
