Clash of Clans March 2017 Balancing Update to Bring Huge Change on Game Strategy

Mar 24, 2017 04:26 AM EDT

Clash of Clans, or better known as COC is still one of the most popular game apps out there. The mobile game has evolved since its first introduction 5 years ago and never stops attracting new players to come and be part of the network.

Developed by Supercell Oy, the Helsinki-based company is doing a great job on nurturing the game by listening to the players' opinions and suggestions. According to the developer, the Clash of Clans team is currently working on the next update on game balance approach by focusing on the attack stats as well as territory defense. Supercell also said that the lesser-used troops will be put into the highlight for this coming update.

With this upcoming update,   P.E.K.K.A (level 3 to 5) and Dragon (level 4 to 6) will be receiving an upgrade on their attack stats. With their increase savagery, these old favorites will once again reign supreme. The hit points and survivability of Hog Riders and Miners of level 5-7 have been increased to make them more effective in wars.

Another longtime favorite Witch will also be going to receive some love in this coming update, as it is reported that its baby skeleton spawning rate will be increased. The Witch has been a regular member for Supercell balancing updates, and once received complaints from players that it is too powerful, before being toned down in the previous updates.

A new Air Defense will be added on Town Hall 11 to counter the now overpowered airborne troops and attacks. After the balancing update, players will be spending less on upgrading the Air Defense for level 4-8. The Air Defense upgrade time will also be going to be reduced for Town Hall 11 players. Town Hall 11 will also be receiving a level 12 Walls for a better defense.
