BlackBerry Keyone Clears FCC Certification in US; Hints Ready to Launch

TLC had introduced BlackBerry Keyone smartphone at the Mobile Wold Congress last month. Now the said smartphone is hinting for launch in the USA soon as it was certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

BlackBerry Keyone has cleared the FCC certification. Generally getting the FCC certificate is the development which indicates an imminent launch. BlackBerry Keyone is BlackBerry's proposal to get back in the race again with the giants of the industry. The Keyone combines the iconic QWERTY keyboard with the latest Android features and supports a 4.5-inch display and 1080 x 1640 p resolution.

Other specifications of BlackBerry Keyone include Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor that is coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is also 32GB of in-built storage in the device and a microSD card slot which can take up to a 256GB card. The BlackBerry Keyone comes with high-end cameras on the front and back sides, on the front there is an 8-megapixel camera and on the back there is a 12-megapixel camera. The device also carries a 3505 mAh battery, as per CrackBerry.

The BlackBerry Keyone is running on the Android Nougat and will have the key features BlackBerry's security software. Security will be one of the key features which the company will be focusing and marketing on more as they have already dubbed Keyone as the most secure Android powered smartphone.
